“McAllen Farmers Market will continue to require that guests wear masks or face coverings while shopping at McAllen Farmers Market. All our vendors wear masks and we practice social distancing in stall placements. Those who have been vaccinated for coronavirus are still required to wear a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines, in line with current CDC guidance for large group gatherings.”
No sale of food products, no baked goods by event vendors is allowed at this event. No baked goods, no prepared foods, no candies, no brownies, no per-packaged foods, no imported food or candies. Doing so will ban you from all future events
• Only local handmade craft/products will be allowed. No resale items, no imports, no independent distributors, no group vendors, and the artist/craft vendor must be on site. Business or store vendors (retail establishments) will not be accepted. We are trying to offer local artists and crafters a place to sell their product and introduce themselves to the community. Retail establishments already have a venue to sell on a regular basis, so they will not be accepted as vendors for our events.
• Limited to only one crafter vendor per booth/spot. Spot may not be shared with other crafters or artists. No group vendors, that includes family groups, churches, school groups, or organizations. Vendor must provide their own table, chair, and tent, as the McAllen Farmers Market will not provide them. All spaces are outside and in the sun so a tent comes in handy.
• No distasteful merchandise including items of vulgarity, profanity, alcohol, tobacco products, firearms, etc.
• Booth fees are due before the event. Please make sure to your email account for a response email with the payment due date. If booth fee is not paid by the required date on the acceptance email you receive from the McAllen Farmers Market, you lose your booth space and it will be assigned to the next person on the wait list. Fee is $10.00 for a 10′ x 10′ booth space and is not refundable or transferable, that means that if you fail to show up, you will not get your money back and you can’t apply it to another event date. Fee may be paid during the farmers market hours, 10 am to 1 pm, at The McAllen Farmers Market located at 4001 North 23rd, McAllen, TX or via credit card or PayPal. We set up on front entrance of the McAllen Public Library but are not part of the McAllen Library.
